I'm Corey Jones, the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Our Power Network. This platform was born from my personal experiences and a profound understanding of the challenges faced by Black and Progressive first-time candidates. I recognized the critical need for an affordable, user-friendly platform for call time management to support candidates that historically face significant barriers when fundraising.

Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to public service and community organizing. I've served as the former Executive Director and Co-Founder of Black Lives Matter RI PAC, currently the board chair of Time To Advocate & Run, and the Ward 3 Democratic Committee. I've also run for office myself and worked on numerous campaigns, always facing the same significant challenge: managing call time effectively on a shoestring budget.

Every campaign I've been part of, and every nonprofit I've started, highlighted the need for a robust yet affordable tool to streamline call time management. Balancing the demands of outreach, fundraising, and community engagement without overspending was a constant struggle. I realized that many first-time candidates, especially those from Black and Progressive backgrounds, needed better support to overcome these obstacles.

This realization inspired the creation of Our Power Network. With the assistance of AI and some talented outsourced professionals, I developed a platform designed to meet the unique needs of grassroots organizers. Our Power Network is built by organizers for organizers, ensuring it reflects our collective experience and understanding of the political landscape.
